A Family Tradition

As little girls, my sister Melly and I skipped around the hills and market towns of North Wales in knitted girls dresses my Mum made for us on her hardy Brother knitting machine. People would continually stop and ask where they could buy such dresses as ours and to this day, my own little girls receive numerous compliments about the very same type of girls dress we wore 20 years ago.

Two years ago my ‘Knitti idea’ first emerged - to bring beautiful, top quality ‘Made in England’ knitted girls dresses to the childrenswear market. When setting up Knitti, my own rules were simple :

1. To produce clothes exclusively from natural yarns.
2. Our brand should be only ever ‘Made in England’.
3. To create designs that little girls love to wear.
4. To ensure Knitti garments were machine washable.

After an endless search, I finally found a bespoke factory in Leicestershire that could meet all our demanding quality needs and incorporate my own hands on involvement in the design of the collection. Everyone involved has been fantastic and the quality is undisputed. I promise all four of my rules stand true today and always will.
